Do you see your life as a story or more like a math problem? Who are the main characters? What is the crisis and plot? Who is the villian? Who’s side are you fighting on? What would you write into it if God gave you the quill?
Watch the Creation trailer. Can you find ways the writers are transfering symbols and icons? How does the writing and character development paint worldviews? What do characters represent? Is there an agenda? What is it?
Approach opportunities as if your life where a tool bench. What you have and do is purposful. Tools have design; an intended output. You don’t need two identical hammers. This wastes space, time and energy. Dive in your toy box. Use more intention and planning and you will save space, time and energy. Filter, evaltuate, give away, intend.
What are the things you need to do, daily? Make a list; toiletries, breathe, dress (if you are going out and don’t want arrested), eat and drink (eventually but not daily), anything else? List the things you have to do. Consider the things God says happen and should happen daily.
The things daddys do and love, for their children. My drolling thoughts after an afternoon roll in the snow with my two oldest boys.
Most of our time is spent on time sensitive jobs, whether important or not. We do the things the clock requires. This keeps things above float and manages the quantity of work being done but does not raise the quality of what we do. I want to do what I do better not just get the job done.
We are going to get thought after thought today. When a thought rises is it something you need to remember or forget?
